Your first throttle in the sand
The engine is louder than you expect. You press the thumb throttle, the quad rolls forward, and the first small dune comes up faster than you thought. Two minutes later you are grinning inside your helmet. That is the quad bike experience in Dubai — and it is easier to start than most people think.
How much does a quad bike cost in Dubai?
At Wild Adventures, quad biking in Dubai starts from AED 175. The final price depends on:
- Ride time. Longer sessions take you deeper into the dunes.
- Automatic or manual quad. Automatic is easiest for beginners; manual gives experienced riders more control.
- Guided ride or more freedom. Beginners ride with a guide on marked routes.
Rules before you ride
- Drivers must be at least 16 years old.
- A helmet is mandatory, and goggles are strongly recommended.
- A short safety briefing comes before every ride.
- Follow your guide’s line: the dunes hide drops you cannot see from below.
Automatic or manual: which one?
If you have never ridden, take the automatic. You will focus on steering and balance instead of gears. If you ride motorbikes at home, the manual quad is more fun on the climbs.
What to wear
Long trousers, closed shoes and sunglasses or goggles. Bring your own gear or pick up a helmet and goggles in our riding gear shop.
Quad or something more?
If you want a roof, a passenger seat and more power, compare the quad with a dune buggy in our guide dune buggy vs quad bike in Dubai. You can also see every vehicle on the Dubai desert tours page.
