Three times of day, three different deserts
The same dunes feel like three different places depending on when you arrive. At sunrise they are quiet and cool. At sunset they glow orange. At night, the only light comes from the camp and the stars. Choosing the right safari is mostly choosing which desert you want to see.
Morning desert safari: calm and private
The morning desert safari starts early, while the sand is still cool and the dunes are empty. It suits families, photographers and anyone who wants the evening free for the city. With a private car from AED 850, your group sets the pace.
Evening desert safari: the classic
The evening desert safari is what most people picture: dune bashing in the afternoon light, sunset from the top of a dune, then an evening at the camp. From AED 350, it is the place to start if this is your first time in Dubai.
Overnight desert safari: the full story
The overnight desert safari combines the evening programme with a night in the desert and breakfast at sunrise, from AED 950. It is the slowest and most memorable way to see the dunes.
